The Spine of the Continent: The Most Ambitious Wildlife Conservation Project Ever Undertaken, by Mary Ellen Hannibal

On September 19, Steve Torbit, Assistant Regional Director for Science Applications, US Fish and Wildlife Service, presented highlights on a new collaborative effort designed to facilitate Greater sage-grouse conservation across four Landscape Conservation Cooperatives.

The Great Northern LCC geographic area encompasses parts of the Columbia Basin, the Rocky Mountains, and the Sage Steppe of the Interior West.
