Landscape patterns planning database coming soon

Cover of landscape analysis documentA collaborative effort led by the Province of Alberta's Environment and Sustainable Resource Development Section, received partial funding from the Great Northern and Plains and Prairie Potholes LCCs to develop a searchable database that provides access to publications helpful to landscape planning. The database will be searchable by scale (mesoregional through site), location, and keywords for ecological processes, taxa, or species. The vetted publications (studies occurring in Western North America) were used in an analysis of relationships between land use patterns and thresholds of environmental quality.
