As a public-private partnership, the Great Northern Landscape Conservation Cooperative can provide the expertise and landscape context to support conservation planning, implementation, and evaluation through an adaptive management framework. Landscape conservation in the Great Northern region is beyond the scope of any one partner — the Great Northern LCC network of partners provides  “functional connectivity” across institutional, jurisdictional, ecological, and technical boundaries.
To meet the needs of the partnership, a Strategic Conservation Framework was completed in 2012, and now a Science Plan is being drafted to develop and apply metrics for landscape integrity, including measureable objectives for conservation targets that include priority species. Please join us learn about the Great Northern LCC model for landscape integrity and to share your ideas on how this effort may align with the goals of your organization.
