Presenter:  Amy Snover, PhD, is the Director of the Climate Impacts Group at the University of Washington’s College of the Environment.  Dr. Snover serves as a co-covening lead author of the draft 2013 National Climate Assessment’s Northwest Chapter along with Philip Mote, PhD, Director, Oregon Climate Change Research Institute.

Summary:  This C3 webinar will provide an overview of 1,100+ page draft National Climate Assessment report with a focus on the findings of the Northwest region’s draft chapter.  The U.S. Global Change Research Program report was posted for 90-day public review on January 14, 2013 and can be accessed at the following website: http://ncadac.globalchange.gov/ . It includes draft state-of-the-science chapters on ecosystems, biodiversity and ecosystem services , forestry,  coastal, water resources and many other “sectors;” as well as regional chapters.
